E24 launches new business section with the Financial Times

Today E24 launches a new section covering International Business News with content from the Financial Times. The agreement includes four out of five sites in the E24 network (Sweden, Holland, France and Estonia).

The local E24 newsrooms will make a daily selection of news stories and comment from the FT that will be published in English on each site.

This cooperation will further reinforce E24’s focus on analysis. Through the FT partnership, E24 will offer its readers an attractive selection of comment, analysis and opinion from some of the best business journalists in the world.

“I am sure that many of our readers are interested in the Financial Times content but aren’t aware of what the FT can offer or don’t find the time to log on to FT.com every day. Our idea with this collaboration is to offer ‘the best of FT’ to our readers from a national perspective. Those who are tempted to search for more and dig deeper into the world of FT will find links to FT.com on E24,” says Per Lundsjö, president and editor in chief of E24.se.

“The ambition with the new ‘FT-section’ is of course to attract new readers to E24 by offering world -class content that you can’t find on any of our competitors’ sites. If we can also deliver new subscribers to FT.com, it will just make us even more satisfied.”
